I get super excited when I get the chance to photograph my wedding couples at their engagement session! I love getting to know their personalities in a quiet, comfortable setting. Jenny and Kyle are the sweetest, most down to earth couple! We met at Grant Park in Milwaukee for their engagement session. They are outdoors people, like myself! Kyle even proposed to Jenny on a hike with their dog, Bella. The weather was cool (so cool that by the water you could see your breath – yikes!)  The wind was whipping and the five foot waves were crashing into the beach, but we embraced it.. I actually really enjoy a decent amount of wind. Something kinda magical about sneaking cuddles and kisses while everything swirls around you (you’ll see below). Jenny and Kyle definitely made it look like magic! I was so in awe of how they naturally just came together so relaxed in each others arms! They kept saying “we don’t know what we’re doing”, but I just kept thinking “well its working and ya look amazing!!!”

Having their dog, Bella, along was so much fun. I am a HUGE lover of those old dog faces starting to turn gray. They brought along their jar of “Bella Butter” (peanut butter just for her!) and we were sure to reward our furry model accordingly. She sat so patiently while we strolled up and down the park. Dogs always make everyone more relaxed!

Jenny and Kyle are getting married this fall at the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee. They are having an intimate ceremony and Kyle’s dad will be officiating. I cannot wait to be there on this wonderful day. Jenny and Kyle, thank you so much for choosing me to be with you during this experience – I am so honored. I hope you enjoy these pictures! XO
