Sarah and Ben planned a beautiful DIY wedding at Old World Wisconsin. What a wonderful way to celebrate the changing leaves and the beginning of autumn!! The day of their wedding called for wind and rain, but we lucked out and had a perfectly calm day. This venue was so fun to photograph. It incorporates so many unique elements and I loved all the animals! We even got to take a horse drawn carriage ride out to the old buildings for pictures following the ceremony.

Sarah did an amazing job pulling together all the DIY details of this wedding with the help of her mom! Everything was so thoughtful and amazing!! Their personalized honey jar favors were my absolute favorite. What an adorable personal touch! She chose dried flowers for her bouquet and decor which I had never worked with before, but I was very impressed by the richness in the colors of her bouquet especially.  The venue complimented her details so perfectly!

Following the ceremony, we rode out to the old village area that houses the animals and lots of cool buildings! They looked amazing snuggling under the fall color. Ben was definitely striking in his black suit, and Sarah stunned in her delicately beaded dress. We enjoyed some quiet moments exploring the property. I was in awe by them and the scenery. Their wedding day was a dream! Sarah and Ben are such a caring couple it was easy to see how loved they really are – not to mention such wonderful families surrounding them!

Thank you so much Sarah and Ben for letting me celebrate with you. I loved being a part of your big day. I hope you enjoy your amazing honeymoon to Scotland (so jealous!) XO
