I absolutely loved Lauren and Spencer’s wedding day at Surg on the Water in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. There is just something so classic about shades of navy paired with maroon for fall! It is a timeless and crisp look that I love every time I see it on a wedding day! Combine this look with an awesome riverside venue, a beautiful Milwaukee backdrop, and one of the funniest couples I’ve met…and we have a recipe for a joy-filled wedding day!

The day started off rather windy, but overall the weather was perfect! Lauren, her mother and her bridesmaids looked so beautiful getting ready in their matching robes. I loved Lauren’s gold jewelry accents and velvet blue shoes – such a beautiful touch. Lauren’s dress just fit the day perfectly!  The flower bouquets were a fabulous collection of hydrangea, calla lilies, and roses that really added great color. They celebrated their wedding surrounded by friends and family. I loved seeing the happiness radiate from everyone who was just so genuinely excited for the newlyweds! Some of my favorite moments include getting ready with the girls, the interactive ceremony, as well as the joy on Spencer’s  face watching Lauren walk down the aisle.  The guests danced all night and enjoyed the reception featuring a super fun DJ.

Their adoration for one another was very visible throughout the day – I felt so blessed to witness it. Honestly, their wedding could not have been more perfect, and I had a blast getting to capture it all! It is days like this that I am so grateful for my profession to be able to enjoy wonderful days like this! Thank you so much to Lauren and Spencer for having me partake in your fabulous wedding day.
