Valerie and Justin enjoyed a beautiful fall day in Milwaukee for their wedding at the Brown Deer Clubhouse. We started the day at a gorgeous church for getting ready and the ceremony. The blue and white accents of the church complimented their color palette so perfectly, not to mention all the amazing light in the chapel! They exchanged sentimental gifts that made everyone cry before the ceremony and wrote personal vows for an added touch to their day. I cannot say enough how meaningful written vows are, there is nothing like it.
After the ceremony, we went over to the Brown Deer Clubhouse for portraits and the reception. By the time of their wedding day, almost all the leaves had fallen from the trees – except at their venue! We were so lucky to have such beautiful fall color remaining on most of the trees surrounding the clubhouse, like the trees were saving them just for this day! The property that holds the clubhouse has so much for offer and provided a beautiful backdrop to their love. It was a little cool, but overall the weather couldn’t have been better. The bridal party snuggled up under glowing fall trees to keep warm during portraits and we had so much fun! After the bridal party portraits, I snuck off with Justin and Valerie to really document the two of them together. I think their love is so obvious when you look at the pictures. When they look at eachother everything else melts away (including the cold weather!).
The reception was filled with beautiful details to match their palette and plenty of delicious treats, but more importantly the love of their friends and family could be felt all through the night. Speeches, hugs, handshakes and kisses all showed just how wonderful these two are and how much they are loved. Thank you Valerie and Justin, it was my pleasure to be a part of your wedding day. XO
