Ana and Brennan could not have planned a more beautiful Charleston destination wedding. They chose a gorgeous waterfront venue at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Ana got ready for her big day by sipping champagne with her favorite ladies while enjoying a panoramic view of the ocean from their rental house. Excuse me, but is there a better start to your wedding day? I’ll wait….. After enjoying the morning on Isle of Palms, we were off to start the wedding celebration with a first look at their venue. (YAY!!) They chose the most perfect wedding venue for the day. Surrounded by gorgeous white plantation houses, flowering lush greenery and relaxing river views there was not a single bad place to take a picture! We fully embraced ALL the heat by reminding ourselves it was 45 degrees at home.
They were so sweet seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, my heart just melts looking at that moment. We chose a spot overlooking the river for those first few portraits and then explored the full property. Their bridal party was so much fun and kept everyone laughing all day! The tear-filled ceremony was in the perfect green space overlooking the river. A beautiful lounge area accompanied by gorgeous twinkle lights filled the brick patio for cocktail hour and dancing. Blush and maroon candlelit accents in the reception space completed their perfect wedding vibe. The two of them danced into the night with their closest family and friends and finished the day with a grand sparkler exit to the getaway car.
Thank you Ana and Brennan for having me document your breathtaking destination wedding in Charleston. The love you share is so beautiful and inspiring. XO
