Melanie and Kody had such a gorgeous engagement session at the Lakeshore State Park in downtown Milwaukee. I absolutely adore this couple, they just have an ease about them (even when I am two feet away with a camera in their faces). The second I met them, I knew I would love them- we instantly bonded over our eco-friendly phone cases, but our similarities definitely did not stop there! BONUS: Melanie is basically a model in front of the camera, killlliinggg it. It’s so obvious just how much they love each other!! It is times like these I have to pinch myself, this is my job!

These two babes are getting married next year at Birch in Tosa. I’m so excited to be a part of such a special time in their lives. You’ll notice below that both Kody and Melanie laugh A LOT. They are so natural together, and I couldn’t help but laugh right alongside them. To be fair, I am thinking the Spotted Cow beers we had probably also contributed a bit (:

We started the session near the Harbor House which is also where Kody proposed! I love getting to know my couples and learning about their relationship more during this session! Sitting down with them as if we were having our own little picnic just made my heart so happy! It helped that the weather was a little dark and cloudy, so we basically had the park to ourselves! Of course, being from Green Bay, they had to include the Packers into their session and I am SO here for it. They even brought their Packer good luck charm!
