Meg and Jordan celebrated their wedding on a gorgeous, sunny day at the Marcus Center in downtown Milwaukee. Their love for each other was so visable throughout the day, especially when they exchanged personal written vows during the garden ceremony. The riverwalk behind their venue was the perfect place to do the first look. They were able to share a few quiet moments by the river before we boarded the bus to new locations with the bridal party. First stop was the Discovery World pier. This is one of my favorite places in Milwaukee, it combines our beautiful skyline with the lakefront. Meg, Jordan, and their wonderful (hilarious) bridal party made this even better. They had no trouble letting loose, cracking jokes and creating so much love and laughter. Jordan also had customized baseball bats made for the groomsman which was a super fun idea! Next stop was a bridge near Brewer’s Hill. The architecture framed them perfectly while they danced and kissed.
Their garden ceremony included so many incredible personal touches. The ceremony included live music sang along to an acoustic guitar – so romantic. Not going to lie, I definitely shed some tears during their heartfelt vow exchange. Following the ceremony, we left for Bradford Beach. This is the location where they first met! (AWW!) It also provided the perfect backdrop for the new Mr and Mrs to enjoy some peaceful moments next to the waves.
Their reception was so filled with love. Meg’s mom arranged all of the floral centerpieces and they had a slideshow featuring video footage with their precious pups! The Marcus Center is a gorgeous venue, made even better by their personal touches. Meg and Jordan, thank you so much for allowing me to share in your day. I enjoyed every second and I hope you treasure these images always. XO
