It was the perfect night to be in downtown Milwaukee for an engagement session on the lake, PLUS these two literally glow with love for one another. Seriously, I am pretty sure they do not take a bad picture….ever. My face hurts from smiling while I edited these because their love is one of those that is just infectious. I feel it so much when I look at the two of them together. Shannon and Austin were so happy the entire time and it made my job even better! On top of all that they brought their adorable pup to the session. I could have just taken that little white fluff ball home with me, he is oh so precious and soo well behaved during the whole session!

Lakeshore Park with the Milwaukee skyline is an amazing place for engagement session photos. Combined with a beautiful sunset and its like a dream! We explored all over the park because it has so much to offer! Obviously the lakefront, but it also has gorgeous architecture and prairie grassland with sweeping views of the city. I love this session so much because it included SO many of my favorite things!! Glowing sunset – check, our pretty city – check, happy and madly in love couple – check (+ puppy snuggles!!!!)

At the end of the session we stopped by a new mural in downtown Milwaukee. The installation is called “Gild the Lily” by Carlos Rolón. After seeing the mural, I knew I had to photograph it!! Thankfully Shannon and Austin were on board with the idea! (If you have a chance, I highly recommend checking it out!!)
