Madison Wedding at Monona Terrace | Danielle + Ryan

Danielle and Ryan have more fun together than perhaps any other couple I know. This was definitely true for their Monona Terrace wedding day! The two live in Illinois, but chose to celebrate their wedding day in the same city that they first met, and their ceremony at the place that Ryan had asked Danielle to marry him. Certain locations will always hold a special place in our hearts and their wedding venue definitely does for them, it also helps that it is a gorgeous spot right on the water overlooking the Madison skyline! From the moment I first spoke with Danielle, I knew that she was my kind of person. Her happiness and kindness shows through in everything she does, I knew Ryan would be the exact same. They are truly wonderful human beings, I felt so honored to be included in the start of their forever.

We all agreed that they hit the “wedding day weather lottery”. Sunny and 75, with a light breeze off the water (just enough to keep her veil beautifully falling behind). Their first look right on the water stole my heart and had me feeling alllll the feels right off the bat and it was just continued throughout the day. Being alumni of the University of Wisconsin – Madison (GO BUCKY!) we had to make a stop at the Memorial Union Terrace for some beers and pictures with their iconic chairs. Their bridal party brought so much fun and energy to the day, especially at the terrace. Next stop was the capitol building for more fun! We ventured all around the beautiful property enjoying these two the whole time. Finally we went to Monona Terrace for their ceremony and reception. The whole day could not have been more gorgeous!

Ryan and Danielle, thank you so much for having me document your memories and just being all around incredible. I think my face still hurts from how much we laughed this day, I know you two will be laughing and bringing laughter to others for your whole life. XO
