Sierra and Derek were married on a gorgeous August afternoon. Weeks prior to their wedding day when I sat down with Sierra to discuss the details I had the chance to peek at the decor she thoughtfully collected. Sierra covered every possible detail and handmade almost everything for their gorgeous backyard wedding – including her dress!

Derek and Sierra’s wedding day was something from a fairy tale. Beyond the details, their love was ever so apparent in each moment of the day. Surrounded by their closest family and friends -while their three beautiful children happily played at the alter, they exchanged personalized vows and left everyone in tears.

After the ceremony, everyone gathered around to play yard games and enjoy each others company. Sierra, Derek and I traveled to a nearby field for a few quiet moments. They laughed, danced and played. I truly enjoyed watching the two of them together and the golden sunset light was spectacular. The day was finished off by releasing sky lanterns.
