Dana and Jaime enjoyed a beautiful wedding day at a new venue in downtown Milwaukee, The Ivy House. They chose the perfect backdrop to compliment their big day! The classic colors of black and white incorporated with the lush greenery and cream city brick of the venue was so beautiful! Dana was absolutely stunning in her beautiful fitted gown! The getting ready portraits were so much fun with this bridal party – they kept me laughing the whole day through!!
They incorporated so many personal elements to their day, which is always so special to me! Dana walked down the aisle holding hands with the couple’s son Max (heart eyes)! Their ceremony was so tailored to the couple and they exchanged such amazing vows – including Jaime promising to remove all centipedes forever more! (: We went to the third ward for pictures following the ceremony. The bright twinkle lights by the public market and surrounding areas made a romantic, quiet setting. The two of them stayed snuggled up and strolled the streets while I captured all the love. Then we went down by the riverwalk for bridal party portraits in the misty rain, which they were total troopers about!!
Dana and Jaime, with the help of family and friends, did an amazing job adding their touch to the reception venue. Beautiful glowing candles, gold centerpieces, and simple holiday decor tied the whole room together! Both the bride and groom are very close with their families and the love between them was so apparent throughout the night.
Dana and Jaime, thank you for including me in your wedding day! It was an absolute joy to capture this chapter of your love story! Enjoy some of my favorites from their day! XO
